there was a note
left on her bed
in a pool of warm blood
in a pool of MY blood
i wrote this note
so that i could die
and people well they would know
dear mother
dear father
did you love me as i did you?
why did you hurt me?
why were you never there for me
when i needed you most?
why did you abandon me at
my time of need?
you left me with
two heartless choices
to kill myself or be killed
by your hurtful words?
goodbye mother
goodbye father
for i have decided
i will not be killed by
your hurtful words
but rather by my own trembling hand
i have taken the knife and
pressed upon the veins in which
flow your blood
you have given me life
and i now take it away
with one simple swipe of a blade
it is gone
i am not to be hurt no more
